Why Oil Is Not A Moisturizer

oil-not-a-moisturizer-2

Water is the only true form of moisture, if water is not present , neither is moisture. Water penetrates the hair shaft going deep into the hair cuticle connecting to other water molecules.

Apricot Castor Oil is a sealant and not a moisturizer. Oils do not add moisture to hair, they only seal in moisture.

If hair oils are added to the hair without adding water or a water-based moisturizer first they will sit on the hair follicles simply coating them and only adding shine.

In order for your thirsty roots to be moist and sealed properly you must add water or a water-based moisturizer to your hair first, then apply the Apricot Castor Oil as a sealant.

See Step by Step instructions for applying Thirsty Roots® Apricot Castor Oil (TRACO).
